Inputs & Outputs of Generative Artificial Intelligence Tools: Intellectual Property Challenges and Perspectives

Prof. Jacques de Werra is ordinary/full professor of the law of obligations (contract law) and of intellectual property law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva. He is the Director of the Digital Law Center (www.digitallawcenter.ch). He is a member of the MIDS Committee (Master of International Dispute Settlement) and will teach an intensive course on IP & Technology Arbitration in the MIDS Program in the upcoming academic year. He has taught as visiting professor at various leading universities including at Harvard Law School (winter terms 2022 and 2024 for a course on "International Intellectual Property Transactions", Stanford Law School (2017 and 2023 in the W. A. Franke Global Law Program in Business Law), Paris 2 - Panthéon Assas, City University of Hong Kong and the University of Nagoya.
